Rhodes Lock
Since the erection of the security
fence around Rhodes Farm treatment site, Rhodes Lock has slowly
been consumed by undergrowth. Recently the lock, which is supposed
to be one of the best preserved locks on the canal, has been
partially exposed for all to see the scale and quality of construction.
Still surviving are the 200 years old wrought iron railings.
