Foggs Aqueduct carried the canal over a small private road. The Aqueduct was rebuilt in 1885. Shortly after the rebuild two small cracks appeared in the structure and despite having no effect on the overall strength of the aqueduct were used as an excuse to demolish the structure in 1967.
