Access from Fold Road

 

Before the construction of Fold Road access to Ringley was along Ringley Brow or across Ringley Bridge. The tower is from a former church and dates back to 1625. Opposite the tower is the site of Ringley Stocks.

The existing Ringley Old Brow Bridge has been replaced by modern road construction. The towing path runs along the side of The Horse Shoe Inn, Ringley Church yard and Ringley Fold treatment works eventually arriving at Giant's Seat locks.
